HANGAR VISTA POLICIES
Listing & private logbook policy
Keep aircraft listings accurate and private records under the seller’s control.
Preview policy · Revised October 16, 2026. Legal operator details and final policy review remain pending.
Accurate listings
Use the correct manufacturer, model, year, asking price, aircraft location and available specifications. Distinguish airframe time, engine time, overhaul status and published TBO. Describe known damage and missing records honestly. Do not describe unverified information as inspected or certified. Keep status and availability current.
Media and ownership
Upload media you created or are authorized to use. Do not upload another seller’s aircraft as your inventory or use sample images to imply they depict the aircraft offered. Identify illustrative or AI-generated media. A 360° sequence consists of photographs; an optional 3D model may be an approximation. Neither proves current physical condition. Public photo uploads must not contain private logbooks or sensitive identity/payment information.
Private PDF access
Upload logbooks only through the listing’s private logbook controls. A buyer must sign in and save name, email and phone to request access. The seller approves selected PDFs through that listing’s private conversation. Access is bound to the buyer’s account and expires 24 hours after approval; the seller may revoke sooner. Newly added PDFs require separate approval. Copying a link does not authorize another account.
Document privacy and use
Before upload, remove information unrelated to evaluating the aircraft that you are not authorized to disclose. Buyers may use approved records to evaluate that aircraft and must not republish, sell, use them for unrelated outreach or share them outside the seller’s authorization. Access expiry/revocation prevents future site access but cannot recall a previously downloaded copy. Sellers should consider that limitation before granting access.
Fraud, reports and removal
Fraud, impersonation, unauthorized listings, deceptive prices, malware, harassment and attempts to obtain private records without permission are prohibited. To report a listing, use Help & support → Contact the team → Report a listing or user and include its URL and concern. To request a review of moderation, use the same ticket process. Reports are reviewed by a human; submitting one does not automatically remove a listing.
Inspection and disputes
The platform does not validate maintenance entries, aircraft title or airworthiness. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for transaction due diligence and appropriate inspections. The support agent cannot give maintenance instructions, legal determinations or aircraft safety assurances.
